Terms of Service

These Terms govern the use of the AGEC compliance service offered on the Shopify App Store.

Pricing is indicated in the application. Payment is handled directly by Shopify via their secure billing system.

The subscription has no commitment. You can cancel at any time by uninstalling the application or changing your plan in settings.

Score AGEC Pro is a compliance assistance tool. It automates the collection, calculation and publication of environmental information required by the AGEC law (Decrees No. 2022-748 and No. 2025-957). The application does not constitute legal advice. The merchant remains solely responsible for the accuracy of the data entered (composition, traceability, substance declarations) and their compliance with current legal obligations. It is the merchant's responsibility to verify the information before publication and to consult a legal professional if in doubt.

By using Score AGEC Pro, the merchant agrees to: • Verify the accuracy of all data entered or extracted by AI, as well as the environmental score calculated by the application, before any publication on their store. The merchant is solely responsible for the compliance of published information with applicable legal obligations. • Ensure that textile composition, manufacturing countries and substance declarations match the actual product. • Regularly consult AGEC regulatory updates, particularly updates to turnover thresholds defining companies subject to the obligation. • Verify that the application remains compliant with current decrees, especially following Ecobalyse API updates.

The Environmental Cost calculation relies on the public Ecobalyse API (beta.gouv.fr), a third-party service operated by ADEME and the French government. Score AGEC Pro does not control this API. In the event of unavailability, modification or interruption of the Ecobalyse API, score calculations may be temporarily impossible. Score AGEC Pro shall not be held responsible for service disruptions resulting from changes to the Ecobalyse API.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the liability of Score AGEC Pro is limited to the total amount of subscriptions paid by the merchant in the last 12 months. Score AGEC Pro shall in no event be liable for indirect damages, loss of revenue, loss of data, commercial harm or administrative penalties resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

In accordance with Decree No. 2022-748, AGEC data associated with archived or deleted products is retained for 2 years from the date of archiving (legal register obligation). Upon uninstallation of the application, this data is immediately deleted. The merchant is responsible for exporting their legal register (CSV) before uninstalling if they wish to keep a copy.

Score AGEC Pro strives to keep the service compliant with AGEC law and Ecobalyse API updates. In the event of a major regulatory change, merchants will be notified. Score AGEC Pro does not guarantee immediate updates in the event of unforeseeable regulatory changes.
