The Anti-Waste for a Circular Economy Act (AGEC), and its implementing decrees (No. 2022-748 and No. 2025-957), requires fashion brands to publish fiber composition, geographic traceability and an Environmental Cost in impact points (Ecobalyse) for every garment sold in France.
All clothing items (garments, lingerie, socks, swimwear…) sold on the French market. The obligation applies regardless of brand size.
Ecobalyse is the official French government method for measuring the environmental impact of a garment (water, CO₂, biodiversity…). The result is expressed in impact points, this is the "Environmental Cost" (Coût environnemental) as defined by Decree No. 2025-957. Score AGEC Pro calls the official API directly for each product.
Once the app is installed, you fill in the composition and origin of your products (manually or via AI). The app calculates the environmental cost and automatically publishes the information via a native block in your Shopify theme.
